Introduction to the Hebrew ‘Alef- bet’ and the vowel system (nikood). Elementary vocabulary is learned alongside rudimentary prepositions, present and past tense conjugations of simple verbs. By the end of this level students can already conduct short conversations.

ב - A2/ beginners 2
A deeper understanding of grammar is acquired by introducing future tense conjugations and additional prepositions and conjunctions. Students meet longer texts and can converse more freely. At the end of this level students start using the language more actively.

ג - B1 / intermediary 1
Gimel marks the beginning of the intermediary phase, where a deepening of the previously learnt verb system takes place, with greater focus on exceptions and passive verbs. At the end of this level students can participate in longer discussions with greater confidence.

ד- B2 / intermediary 2
Dalet students are faced with academic and journalistic texts and media clips, and can participate in ensuing discussions. Through the expansion of vocabulary, they can express themselves in both speaking and writing on a wider and more challenging array of topics. .

ה - C1 / advanced 1
A vocabulary covering the fields of social studies, law and the arts is introduced through complex articles and contemporary content from the Israeli media. At the end of this level students have the ability to express themselvs by using a rich and nuanced language.

ו - C2 / advanced 2
Vav students are able to use all their previously learnt grammatical knowledge as well as extensive vocabulary to express themselves freely and naturally on anything from literature and poetry to politics and science. Emphasis is mainly being put on styling and fluency.
